Chris Wolf Show seeks interesting stories, storytellers
The Chris Wolf Show is a cooperative experiment between penbaypilot.com, WRFR FM Community Radio, and Maine Coast TV, Community Television. It's different from most broadcasting. We don't have fancy sets, flying graphics, big budgets. Sure, we're using technology, but we're pushing it as far to the background as we can.
Instead we're just getting back to the basics of storytelling — a couple of people sitting around a kitchen table or campfire, communicating. And, what’s amazing about the Chris Wolf Show are the stories. We get to hear about all that is happening in the community that we usually don't know — great people telling stories and great stories to tell.
From bank presidents to massage therapists, CEOs, firefighters, police chiefs, politicians and nonprofit directors, and including chefs, selectmen and everyday business owners, the guests are diverse. Most wouldn't even consider themselves storytellers. But they are.
The format of the show is relaxed and the conversation is hosted by Chris Wolf, a master in keeping things moving along.
The show has enabled a lot of storytellers to tell a lot of stories. And we're looking for more storytellers.
If you, or your organization have a story that's worth sharing or know someone who does, we'd like to hear from you. Email Wolf directly at TheChrisWolfShow@gmail.com. You don't have to be a professional speaker. You don't have to prepare. You just need to have a story and be passionate about it. We hope to hear from you.
