Poetry and art mail-in exhibition in Rockland
ROCKLAND — In honor of National Poetry Month in April, Good Tern Café Gallery will once again hold a mail-in exhibition of poetry and art exhibition.
The Good Tern Café Gallery usually features work by coop members, but for this exhibition, entries are open to the larger community. Past years' entries were received from as far away as South Carolina and western Ontario, according to a news release.
Lois Anne, curator of Good Tern Café Gallery said in the news release: "I'd like to invite anyone of any age who is interested to submit a piece or two or three for Poetry and Art IV, A Mail Art Exhibition. Our poetry, visual art about poetry, drawings inspired by poetry, poems inspired by sculptures, poems by artists, and visual art by poets, anything that fits on a postcard. There are so many possibilities that this could be quite exciting "
Poetry and Art IV, A Mail Art Exhibition, Submission Guidelines are as follows:
1 — Make a poem, painting, drawing, collage, or other creation on a postcard, or in an envelope, relating the theme of poetry and art.
2 — Entries may be signed or anonymous.

4 — Send to: Lois Anne, curator of poetry and art, P.O. Box 1661, Rockland ME 04841.
