BELFAST — Waterfall Arts has scheduled a special art camp during February school vacation (February 16-20) for children ages 7 to 12 year olds.  The camp’s theme is: Art Meets Music.

Activities include painting, collage, constructing and creating, all inspired by music. Participants will paint the blues, and create jazz collages, DIY album covers and recycled instruments.

The camp is led by artist, musician and youth instructor Bridget Matros, and features additional volunteer musicians.

Early registration is recommended.

All classes have minimum and maximum enrollment thresholds, so early registration will improve the chances of running the class. Partial scholarships are available.

Waterfall Arts is supported by the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, foundations, local businesses and individual contributions.
