Medomak Valley High School Golf Team receives Good Sportsmanship Award

The Medomak Valley Golf team and Coach Kevin Richardson received high honors from their peers when they won the 2024 Class B South Good Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive season.
They were presented their award Saturday, Oct. 12, at the State Championship at Natanis in Vassalboro.
The young team of 10 showed a lot of improvement this season, winning their last three out of four regular season matches. They will return all but one player next fall.
MPA Good Sportsmanship Awards are voted on by opponents in regular season matches. This is the second such award for golf and 32nd overall for MVHS Athletics.
"Thank you Coach Richardson for your leadership, mentorship and setting high standards for your players," said Medomak Valley Sports Director Matthew Lash. "We are very proud of you and your team."
