This fall, with voters weary of negative political campaigns, there is one candidate whose character and integrity are beyond reproach and stand in stark relief to the rest- Scott Cuddy. Smear tactics and untruths told by the opposition cannot change that or dim the promise of Cuddy.

Let me tell you why Scott has my vote. I admire Cuddy’s voting record from his two terms as a former State Representative, which proves that he works well with others and will continue to fight for our neighbors. His opponent’s campaign has instead focused on instilling in voters a fear of Scott. She cannot rely on her own House record, which amounts to a string of “NO” votes, with her extremist views which have prevented her from working effectively in the House to accomplish anything.

You can trust Scott. I don’t trust someone whose donations come from PAC’s and out of staters. I was proud to contribute my $5 to Scott’s Clean Elections campaign, so that he might serve to continue his work in Augusta to protect workers, help make home energy costs more affordable and reduce consumer costs. 

These candidates truly couldn’t be more different. One stands for democracy, intelligence, honesty and community. The other had a term as State Representative to show us what she’s made of, and she did.

Vote Scott Cuddy for House in HD 37 (Winterport, [part of] Franklin, Prospect, Stockton Springs, and Searsport) on November 5.
