Philip D. Tinker, obituary
ELLSWORTH — Philip D. Tinker, 70, passed away unexpectedly and too soon, Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Philip was born in Rockland, September 23, 1953, to parents, Margaret and Harvey J. Tinker. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Favreau; brothers James, Robert, William, David and Edward; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Richard and Glenn; and his wife, Cindy.
Philip grew up in Owls Head, and enjoyed the area before attending college and began a career as a chef, which he loved. He worked in many places around the country before settling down and opening his own restaurant, The Townhouse in Calais, which was his life’s passion.
He will be greatly missed by his family. Philip had a love of life and family, we will miss his smile, his great sense of humor, and his laughter and wit.
Rest in Peace brother.
Philip’s family will remember his life privately.
