Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Dec. 21 - Jan. 2.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Dec. 21
Kira M. Sweetland, 36, of Swanville, was issued a summons for attaching false plates on Curtis Road in Swanville.
Dec. 24
Evan C. Coleman, 31, of Montville, was issued a summons for speeding 30+ miles per hour over the speed limit on Route 1 in Northport.
Dec. 27
Harmony Tolle, 42, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating with a license 90+ days beyond expiration on Cape Jellison Road in Stockton Springs.
Dec. 29
Chase J. Thayer, 20, of Freedom, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30+ mph on Waldo Station Road in Waldo.
Dec. 31
Crystal Beckim, 39, of Unity, was arrested for criminal mischief, assault, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and domestic violence assault on School Street in Unity.
