Cory L. Daniello, obituary
THOMASTON — Cory L. Daniello, 46, died peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, while awaiting a heart transplant due to a life long struggle with heart disease. Her family is comforted that when she closed her eyes, she awoke in the arms of her mom and Jesus.
Born in Rockport, October 21, 1976, she was the daughter of Ronald and Joanne Harris Daniello. Educated locally, she was a 1995 graduate of Georges Valley High School.
A hard worker her entire life, Cory worked for many years as a C.N.A., first at Knox Center for Long Term Care, and later at Pen Bay Medical Center. For over 25 years she was a smiling face behind the deli counter at Shaw’s. Cory loved all the relationships she built while working and looked forward to seeing her patients and customers.
Cory was always thinking of others and taking care of everyone around her. She loved to cook and bake, and especially during the holidays. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs, Baxter, Rocky and Brady.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her mother, Cory is survived by her father, Ronald Daniello of Thomaston; her sister, Jody Daniello and her companion James Millay; her brothers, Ronald E.
