LAKELAND, Florida — Brenda Laurel Rivers passed away at her home in Lakeland, Florida on December 8, 2022. Born June 22, 1941 to Amasa (Dan) Hatch and Elsie Leach Hatch, Brenda was the oldest of five children.

Brenda lived a life of her choosing while doing things in her own way. 

Predeceased by her parents and siblings, David, Robert, Steven and Ruthie (Pelkey), her longtime partner Michael Leonard, her son Robert Robbins and her daughter Lorraine Larrabee and her grandson Thorin Robbins; she is survived by two children, John Stephens and his wife Becky of Waldoboro and Anita Robbins of Vassalboro; grandchildren Ashley, Corey, Dustin, Jared, Jordan, Gavin, Noah, Lexi, Justin, Amaya and Dallas; and great grandchildren Caleb, Bella and Brayden. 
 
In keeping with Brenda's wishes there will be no services.

Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens assisted the family.
