Ronald Thorne of Warren, Maine passed away peacefully on November 23, 2022 after a brief illness. Leaving behind to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Rose, and his three sons Donald, Ronald III, and Brad; also his four step children Joanie, Patty, Vicky and Corey; as well as his sister, Rhonda and her husband Terry.

Ronnie and Rose enjoyed 24 years of camping at Townline Campground in Nobleboro, the last two years being spent with his sister, Rhonda and her husband Terry, who nicknamed him "the social butterfly."

Ronnie was a truck driver for over forty years having driven for Northeast Transport. After his retirement he went to work at Advanced Auto Parts in Waldoboro making many friends.

He enjoyed supplying his four legged friends with dog bones and Rooster Bob. Ronnie loved his dog Sassy and being home every night.

Committal service to be held December 30, at noon, in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mt Vernon Road, Augusta, Maine.

Celebration of Life to be held in the summer of 2023.
