Judith S. Brann, obituary
CUSHING — Judith S. Brann, 73, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home.
Born in Brunswick, May 17, 1949, she was the daughter of Percy and Dorothy Young Merrifield. She was educated in Thomaston Schools, graduating from Georges Valley High School.
Throughout her life, Judy has been avid crafter and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. On September 8, 2002, Judy married Ronald Brann in Thomaston.
Together with her husband, Ronald, she enjoyed traveling around New England and Eastern Canada with the Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s for meetings and functions. They also enjoyed going out to eat at local restaurants.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald, and her son, David Creamer, both of Cushing; her daughter, Ann Marie Sanford and her husband Tim of Cushing; her granddaughter, Krista Paul of Whitefield; her sisters, Carolyn Grierson and her husband Gerald, and Karen Yattaw all of Spruce Head; as well as her sister-in-law Diane Elwell and her husband John.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A time of memorial will be offered at 6 p.m., with an Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s service.
A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2023.
