Camden Hills announces cast of Monty Python’s Spamalot School Edition
ROCKPORT — The musical begins with the character of The Historian talking about Plague that has spread through England, and ends with the audience singing Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
“Monty Python’s Spamalot School Edition is a perfect show for these pandemic times, with a humorous and mad-cap way of looking at the world,” said Camden Hills Regional High School, in a news release.
CHRHS will present its production on Nov. 5, 6, 12, and 13, at 7 p.m. each night; with a family show on Nov. 10, at 6 p.m.
After being denied a fall musical last year, this year’s seniors are determined to put on a good show for the community, according to the theater department, in a news release.
Featured seniors include: Joshua Kohlstrom (King Arthur), Audrey Leavitt (Lady of the Lake), Lucas Marriner-Ward (The Voice of God), Isabella Kinney (Concorde & Ensemble roles), Alice Moskovitz (Brother Maynard & Ensemble roles), and Dancers Molly Blemaster and Rachel Rademacher with a variety of character roles played by Tom Roberts. Senior Nora Finck is helping to organize costumes plus play a handful of ensemble roles on stage; Brian Bland is the set designer and prop master; and Oliver Worner is lighting designer and student producer.
Filling out the cast are juniors Leo Feldman (Sir Galahad), Sam Skovran (Sir Bedevere), Sam VanLonkhuyzen (Sir Gladys Knight), Grace Yanz (The Angel), Daniel McGregor (Prince Herbert), Malaya Moores (Knight of Ni), and Monks: Magnolia Simmons and Millie Pearse; and Sophomores George Bickham (Lancelot), Cooper McBride (Not Yet Dead Fred), Caleb Butler (The Black Knight), Dancers and Ensemble members: Kerrigan Peterson, Emma Shackelford, Lorelei Rademacher, Tatum Freeman and Emma Deetjen.
The Freshman class has a strong showing in the cast with Preston Henderson (Patsy), Walker Hedrich (Sir Robin), Abigail Kohlstrom (Historian), AJ Collins (Mrs. Galahad), Tessa Byrnes (Guard), Lindsey Clifford (French Taunter), Lydia Watts (Tim the Enchanter) and Dancers: Camden Contakos, Rosie Fishman, Maren Kinney and Ensemble Members: Caroline Kern, Tegwyn Hearst, Gabe Wheeler, Trey Freeman, Levi Thomas, and Fisher Thomas.

Photography, and costuming by many community members including students Emily Frank, Malaya Moores, Camden Contakos, Rachael Rademacher, Daniel McGregor, Justin Dearborn, and Nora Finck.
At the present time, plans include selling tickets for half of the house, in order for the audience to be distanced from each other. Plans to stream the production are also underway.
