Donna Boulier Bean, obituary
BROOKS — Donna Boulier Bean passed away peacefully after saying her goodbyes to loved ones on August 19, 2021, at the Sussman House in Rockport from congestive heart failure.
Donna was born at Waldo County General Hospital on July 28, 1955, to Kenneth L and Winifred (Flye) Boulier. She graduated from Mt. View High School in 1974 and married Greg Bean, then of Searsport, on June 5, 1976. Together they raised two sons, and when Donna wasn’t taking care of her own family, she worked as a CNA at local nursing homes and provided private in-home care to individuals as well.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by three siblings: Richard Boulier, Elaine Boulier Redman and Kenneth Boulier II.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Greg Bean; their two sons, Shawn Bean and wife Bobbi, and Greg Bean, Jr.; one sibling, Robert Boulier; nephews, James Stacey, Brian Stacey and Kory Boulier; sisters-in-law, Cassie Bean, and Terry Boulier; brother-in-law Larry Redman; and several cousins. She will be dearly missed by her “crew” and her beloved German Shepherd, Noah.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Nascar races, making hooked rugs, canning sour pickles, and was very well known for her lasagna.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be announced at a later date.
