Cooling place open to the public at Searsport Town Office/Union Hall Thursday, Friday
SEARSPORT — The Town of Searsport is offering a cooling place at the Searsport Town Office/ Union Hall Thursday and Friday, Aug. 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The air conditioners are on upstairs and there is water and refreshments.
The Town Office has free wifi in the building.
“Heat and humidity are dangerous, please be safe and stop by if you need a break from the weather,” said the Town, in a news release.
