McLoons Lobster Shack holiday masks benefit RDNA
McLoons Lobster Shack’s face masks are back for the holidays in lobster, nautical, and seasonal patterns, again benefiting the Rockland District Nursing Association (RDNA).
Over the summer, McLoons was able to donate over $3,000 to RDNA from the sale of masks.
“The work they do is especially vital now in keeping our community safe and healthy,” said Shack owner Bree Douty, in a RDNA news release.
These masks support non-acute, essential, in-home nursing services for predominantly elderly residents living independently. With the community’s support and the necessary safety protocols, RDNA nursing visits have continued through the pandemic, and are the definition of “flattening the curve,” according to RDNA.
“As the community learns to live with our new reality, it is critical that these nursing services remain available, accessible and affordable,” said the Association.
Locally handmade masks are available in multiple sizes with adjustable elastics to create a custom fit.
Visit mcloonslobster.com/merchandise to pre-order by Thanksgiving for delivery by mid-December. A pickup option is also available.
