Medomak 7th boys basketball bests Troy Howard
BELFAST — The Medomak seventh grade boys basketball team hit the road Monday, Dec. 16 to Belfast to challenge the Troy Howard “B” team in a Busline League contest.
The visiting Riverhawks held quarterly advantages of 15-10, 27-14 and 42-18 en route to a 50-18 victory.
Scoring for Medomak were Gabe Lash (14 points), Kristian Schumann (10), Jack Martin (six), Carrick Lally (four), Cameron Ryan (four), Liam Belyea (four), Vishal Mellor (two), Gavin White (two), Aiden Abbotoni (two) and Seamus Donaghy (two).
Scoring for Troy Howard were Jacob Lindloff (10 points), David Anderson (six) and Sam Duvall (two).
“The young men played excellent defense and very unselfish offense with excellent passing and ball sharing,” said Medomak coach Pat Delahanty of his Riverhawks.
The next game for Medomak will be Wednesday, Dec. 18 at home against the Troy Howard “A” team.
