Vose Library seeks volunteers, donations for annual plant sale
UNION — The Vose Library Plant Sale Crew in Union is looking for additional crew members, as well as donations of perennials (potted and labeled) or permission to lift, divide and replant beds of your perennials, with permission to retain a portion for this annual sale.
Crew members are willing to travel throughout Knox County for a volume of plants. This large and well-organized Plant Sale, is held each year on the first Saturday of June on the Union Common in Union.
This year's rain-or-shine sale is slated for June 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and also features a bake sale.
The annual fundraiser has been an important contribution to funding the Vose Library's operating expenses in recent years, according to the Library.
