M. Ed. In Educational Leadership program offered through Hutchinson Center
BELFAST — Beginning this fall, the University of Maine’s Educational Leadership Program will offer a M.Ed. in educational leadership in an online, low-residency format.
Eighty percent of the classes are available online, with 20 percent of the coursework offered in weekend meetings.
The 13-course program offers 40 credits, including an internship experience. With a cohort approach, the supportive program allows peer relationships to grow and deepen over time, according to UMaine Hutchinson Center, in a news release.
Classes meet most weeks, from 5 – 7:30 p.m., through video conferencing, and two to three Saturdays for face-to-face leadership work, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Hutchinson Center, in Belfast.
For more information, prospective students can contact Paul Knowles, paul.d.knowles@maine.edu.
Applications must be received no later than June 1, 2019.
