Gratitude Assembly at Thomaston Grammar School
On Thursday, October 25, several students at Thomaston Grammar School were recognized for the attribute of gratitude. Students were presented with a certificate at a school-wide assembly and will have lunch with the school principal later this month.
When we think of gratitude, we think of the phrase, thank you, but the actions of gratitude go so much beyond these basic words. Gratitude is an intrinsic quality, it comes from the inside. It is knowing and understanding the right thing to do.
Jackson Russomano was also awarded the Principal’s Award. Jackson is an exemplary student. He always makes sure that our school rules (Be Safe, Be Kind, and Try Your Best) are in his mind and in his heart at all times, not because they are the school rules, but because they are examples of the right things to do. He doesn’t need reminders to do what is right; it is natural for him to choose the right path every time. He genuinely cares about his classmates and the TGS staff.
Congratulations to all the students that received awards at TGS this month!
