P.A.W.S kicks off annual Tree of Lights fundraiser
CAMDEN — P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center has kicked off their second annual Tree of Lights fundraising campaign in an effort to help shine a light in memory or in honor of beloved pets in our community. This fundraising effort will run from September through December.
P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center cares for more than 600 homeless animals annually. All of the proceeds from this yearly fundraising effort will directly support the shelter’s medical fund, which is used to cover the expense of necessary and emergency medical care for the animals.
You can light a bulb in honor of your pet by visiting www.pawsadoption.org/light- the-tree. Submitted photos of your pet(s) will be shared on the P.A.W.S. website until December 31st. Bulbs will also be available for sponsorship at various shelter tabling events and participating local businesses. During the month of December, the P.A.W.S. tree at 123 John Street in Camden will be lit to honor all pets.
