UMaine Hutchinson Center announces new fall 2017 MSW-Weekend Cohort
Applications are being accepted for the new 2017 Master's of Social Work Weekend Cohort starting September 2017 at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.
Classes will be held on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings in Belfast. Interested candidates should contact Deidre Boylan at 322-3319 or deirdre.boylan@maine.edu to schedule an interview.
Applications will be reviewed starting Feb. 1, and continue until the cohort is filled.
At the University of Maine School of Social Work, students are prepared to become proficient and ethical social work professionals committed to social change in a variety of organizations, specializations and professional roles. This weekend program is designed to extend access to affordable, fully accredited graduate Social Work education that provides student with a well- integrated academic and practical education.
A field practicum may be completed at qualifying organizations geographically convenient to students. Since 1991, the MSW Program has been accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. UMaine. MSW graduates go on to serve as social work clinicians, program planners, administrators and community change agents in a wide range of public and private settings and systems.
