Transient Housing workshop Oct. 28 in Rockland
ROCKLAND — A workshop called Transient Residential Accommodations will be conducted in City Hall’s Council Chambers, 270 Pleasant Street, in Rockland on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
During the October 14 city council meeting, Mayor Frank Isganitis, co-owner of the Limerock Inn, recused himself from the impending vote concerning attempts to regulate short-term rentals in Rockland.
Rocklanders have voiced opinions for both sides of the issue, which will be addressed during the November 9 council meeting.
Following this public workshop, council will move into Executive Session pursuant to Title 1, M.R.S., Sec. 405(6)(A) which permits the discussion or consideration of evaluation of personnel, to hold a performance review of the City Manager.
