On Friday, May 25, from noon until 6 p.m., members of the Simonton Corner Community Association will stage a voluntary toll booth at Simonton Corner to raise money for the revitalization of the Hall. The toll booth will be set up on the corner of Main and Park streets, in Rockport.

Efforts have been underway over the past 6 months to make repairs to the building. The Simonton Community Hall was established in 1923. It has served as a gathering place with dances, dinners, rummage sales, and public and private events for the last 95 years.

If you are unable to stop by the toll booth and still would like to donate, send checks to Simonton Corner Community Association at PO Box 125, Rockport, ME 04856.
