Ongoing youth programs at Rockland Public Library
ROCKLAND — Weekly and monthly children’s programs meet regularly at the Rockland Public Library. From infant on up through the young at heart, participants can listen to stories, construct, and create at the Library, 80 Union Street, in Rockland.
Weekly:
Rockin’ Storytime
Tuesdays, 10:30 AM
Join Miss Katie for a musical storytime full of songs, dances, and stories. Perfect for preschool & toddlers.
Drawing Workshop
Tuesdays, 4:00 PM
Join Artist Catinka Knoth in drawing, with a different theme each week. This program is for children (and adults), ages 6 and up.
Storytime & Crafts
Wednesdays at 10:30 AM
Listen to stories and make wonderful crafts to bring home. Stop in & join the fun with Ms. Judy.
Baby Time
Thursdays at 10:30 AM
Clap, sing, and wiggle along with Miss Katie’s songs, finger plays, and stories. Perfect for birth to age two. Siblings welcome.
Monthly:
Magic the Gathering Club
1st Saturday of the month at 1:30 PM
Newbies and experienced players are invited to play Magic with Mr. Zac and friends. We have decks to share. This program is for children and adults.
Creative Art Crew
2nd Thursday of the month at 3:45 PM
Paint, make monsters, build puppets, and more. Each month Miss Katie will pick a different theme. This program is for children and adults.
Lego Club
with Lego Master Jon Newton
3rd Thursday of the Month, 4:15– 5:00 PM
Kids of all ages are invited to use their imaginations to build. LEGO provided.
