A Matter of Balance class offered through Waldo County General, Belfast Triad
BELFAST — Waldo County General Hospital’s Community Health team in collaboration with the Belfast Triad group is offering an 8-week A Matter of Balance Class. This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.
In this class, you will learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home and exercise to increase strength and balance.
This class is for anyone who is concerned about falls, interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength, who has fallen in the past and who has restricted activities because of falling concerns.
