Local authors participate in book signings during Rockland Lobster Festival
ROCKLAND — Thirteen local authors from Maine Authors Publishing of Rockland will be attending The Maine Lobster Festival on July 30-August 3 for book signings.
The children’s and young adult authors attending are E.H Gerard of Dear Emily (Aug. 2, 3-6 pm), Jayne Rowe Jones of Retsbol Rise (Aug. 3, 12 p.m.-3 p.m), Jan Gilley of Light on Jib Island (Aug. 2, 12 p.m.-3 p.m), Kelly Brooks-Bay of The Rainbow Pants (July 30, 3-6 pm and Aug. 3, 12-3 pm), Betsey Anderson of Maggie Goes to Maine (Aug. 1, 12 p.m.-3 p.m), and Angela Nickerson of Hector (Aug. 2, 12-3 pm).
The fiction authors attending are Bob Branco of Strike from the Deep (July 30, 3-6 pm and Aug. 2, 3 p.m.-6 p.m), Kevin C. Mills of Sea of Liberty (July 31, 9 am-6 pm), Herb Short of The Stele and the Amulet (July 31, 3 p.m.-6 p.m), and Elizabeth Hall Harmon of Chimney Pond Tales (July 30, 12 p.m.-3 p.m).
The poetry and non-fiction authors attending are David C. Weiss of A Heart on Fire (July 31, 12-3 pm), Deborah Gould of Father is Here…He’s as Fat as a Pig (Aug. 1, 9 am.-12 p.m), and Marisue & John Pickering of Maine Beyond the Usual (Aug. 1, 12 p.m.-3 p.m).
