Kevin Scott Warren, obituary
HOPE — Kevin Scott Warren, 64, of Hope, died on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Born at Knox County General Hospital in Rockland on May 2, 1958, he was the son of William G. and Georgia M. (Blake) Warren and grew up in Rockland before moving to Warren.
He was a 1976 graduate of Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro where he participated in sports.
In his younger years, he loved Chevy Camaros, especially his red one with white stripes.
On February 13, 1981, he was blessed with the birth of his only daughter, Kristina “Krissy” Warren.
Kevin was very experienced in many phases of construction including concrete, roofing, and general construction. He was proud of working on the Navigator Motor Inn where he did roofing work suspended in a harness 100 feet off the ground. Another personal achievement was doing the roof of the “Spite House” in Rockport while working for Coastal Copper and Slate.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Leland Warren, of Hope; his mother, Georgia Warren, of Rockland; mother-in-law, Faye R. Leland of West Rockport; daughter, Krissy Campbell; stepsons, Tyler P. (Lindsey) Ludwig of Union, Andrew (Elizabeth) K. Ludwig of Monmouth; brothers, William (Patty) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mike (Julie) Warren from Hallowell; sisters, Dorinda (Bruce) Bennett of Union; Diana (Kent) Simendinger of Rockland; 4 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A private family service will be held.
