Elizabeth Susan Tracy, obituary
CAMDEN — Elizabeth Susan Tracy, 71, passed away peacefully August 15, 2023 at Winward Gardens after a brief illness.
Born September 21, 1951 in Roanoke, VA, “Susan” is predeceased by her mother, Isabel C. Tracy and her father, William O. Tracy Jr.
She is survived by her sister and family, Martha T. Holland; her sister Jane T. Frantz and family; and her brother and family, William O. Tracy III.
Susan graduated from Ohio University with a B.A. in Education and taught English for many years at Madison Heights High School in Virginia before following Martha to Maine in retirement.
Susan was active in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and loved crafts, reading and her cats.
The family suggests any donations in her memory be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7 Wesley Lane, Rockland, Maine 04841.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter and Hutchins Funeral Home, Rockland.
Susan will be laid to rest with her parents in West Virginia.
