"Tourism is an important part of Rockland’s waterfront economy," said the City, in a news release. "It helps generate non-property tax revenue that supports waterfront operations, harbor infrastructure, and local businesses. At the same time, cruise tourism brings both challenges and opportunities for the community.
"As the City continues to review cruise tourism policies, future opportunities, and long-term planning needs, community feedback will play an important role in supporting a balanced and transparent decision-making process that aligns with the City’s 2022 Comprehensive Plan.
"The City encourages the public to attend in person or online and take part in this important community conversation," said the City.
Questions or comments may also be submitted before the workshop here.
