Call for Tails, Tales pop-up sculptures in Rockland library gardens
ROCKLAND — Using a pre-made scarecrow frame, individuals, families, local businesses and other groups can create a sculpture together and have it featured in the Tails & Tales Sculptures in the Gardens on the Rockland Public Library property. The theme for the sculptures follows that of the Summer Reading Program, “Tails & Tales.”
Will you make a sculpture of your favorite animal? A character from a fairy tale? Use your imagination!
Scarecrow frames can be picked up starting Wednesday, July 14 and finished sculptures must be dropped off at the Library by Monday, August 2.
“Supplies are limited, so pick up a frame soon,” said the Library, in a news release.
