Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition hires new communications, publicity person
BELFAST — Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition has hired George Frangoulis to replace outgoing Stacia Hoover, who has served BBWC for 18 months.
“Stacia is moving on to new challenges, and we thank her for her past hard work and dedication to BBWC,” said BBWC, in a news release.
Frangoulis is also currently serving as an adjunct professor of English at Thomas College in Waterville, where he teaches writing and public speaking, He and his spouse, Kristin, produce and host the weekly community affairs television show, Good Morning, Belfast! (www.VillageVoices.online).
Frangoulis has spent over three decades teaching English, journalism and media studies at various colleges and universities in Alabama and Maine. He was also founder and editor of Farmstead Magazine, which he published in Freedom, for farmers, gardeners and back-to-the-landers from 1973 to 1988.
