Midcoast Brass Quintet to perform July 21 in the Camden Amphitheater
CAMDEN — The Midcoast Brass Quintet will return to the Camden Amphitheatre for a concert of classical, jazz and popular music on Thursday, July 21, in the Amphitheater next to the Camden Public Library on Atlantic Avenue.
The concert, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m., is part of the Camden Library's popular summer series, and the Midcoast Brass Quintet is an annual favorite. The Midcoast Brass Quintet features Megan Kennedy on trombone, Doug Kennedy on tuba, Carolyn Kanicki on horn, and Peter Stuart and Bruce Cole on trumpets.
The concert on July 21 will include selections from well-known composers like Johann Sebastian Bach, P.I. Tchaikovsky and Henry Filmore. The quintet will also debut numbers from famous artists Queen and The Beatles. With such a wide variety of styles, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Bring blankets or chairs for comfortable seating, the concert is free. In the case of rain the concert will be held indoors in the library.
