ROCKPORT — Tennis is a wonderful game to play with friends and can be enjoyed at any level. Adult Ed tennis classes held at Midcoast Recreation Center are an excellent way to learn and start playing. Beginners tennis is offered in both daytime and evening sessions of six weeks each; the daytime class will be on Wednesday's from 11 a.m. to noon beginning April 27, the evening class will be on Thursday's from 5:30-6:30 p.m. beginning April 28. If you have been playing and want to continue, there is also an Advanced Beginner class, on Wednesday's from 1-2 p.m. beginning April 27, and an Advanced Play class which meets on Friday's from 5:30-6:30 p.m. beginning April 29. All classes are only $75.
