Calendar of Events: Camden Public Library, March 10 through March 24
CAMDEN – The library will host a variety of events during the March 10-24 period. Some require registration as space is limited.
Sunday, March 13
Camden-Rockport Historical Society hosts Les Fossel, at 2 p.m. as part of the Winter Speaker Series. The talk is "Living With Your Old House." Fossel is an old-house specialist and owner of Restoration Resources in Alna, ME.
Monday, March 14
"Why Am I So Stressed Out?" Destination Wellness Brown Bag Lunch presentation at noon, to learn about your adrenal glands and how their health and function, or lack of function, determines your energy levels.
Tuesday, March 15
"Tech Tuesday" at 3 p.m. on "Digital Photos: Storing Online." We'll go over free cloud services for storing photos and explore services that sync phones and tablets to online storage, using Microsoft's OneDrive and iPhotos as examples. The library's Tech Tuesday is a series of monthly classes on current technology issues for beginners.
Songwriters Session 6 p.m., meet with other songwriters & musicians in a supportive setting. Call Ken Gross at the Library at 236-3440 for more information.
"Wild by Nature" multi-media presentation with Lee Ann Szelog and Thomas Mark Szelog, 7 p.m. You will witness surprising, beautiful, and memorable moments with wildlife and nature through photographs and stories by the Szelogs.

"A Scandalously Short History of Medicine in Maine in the 19th and 20th Centuries" by Dr. Richard Kahn, 1 p.m. Part of Quarry Hill's Adventures in Living Well series, please call to register, 921-6116.
Thursday, March 17
The Midcoast Audubon Society will host naturalist Doug Hitchcox, presenting "Bringing Nature Home," 7 p.m. at the Camden Public Library. As habitats become fragmented, our backyards, large and small, are increasingly important areas for birds and other wildlife. The talk will look at the importance of using native plantings to provide food and shelter for our insects and birds. Hitchcox is the Staff Naturalist at Maine Audubon.

Dragon Farm Salon hosts "Maine's Advocate for Women," Eliza Townsend, 2 p.m.
Tuesday, March 22
Leer y charlar is Read and chat, a Spanish-language discussion group, all who are proficient in Spanish are welcome, 1 p.m.
Free film screening, "The Century of The Self," a documentary by filmmaker Adam Curtis, 7 p.m., hosted by the Camden Philosophical Society.
