Waldo County Sheriff’s Department beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Dec. 13-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
Dec. 12
Nancy Silverman Bogart, 65, of Knox, was issued a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle (150+ days) on Route 139 in Unity.
Dec. 13
Ronnie L. McBreairty, 31, of Oakland, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband at Waldo County Re-entry in Belfast.
Steven D. Doray, 28, of South China, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband at Waldo County Re-entry in Belfast.
Morris G. Young, 28, of Warren, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband at Waldo County Re-entry in Belfast.
Scott N. Sayce, 51, of Dixfield, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband at Waldo County Re-entry in Belfast.
Shawn N. Perito, 21, of Belfast, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband at Waldo County Re-entry in Belfast.
Cheyanne S. Nowak, 26, of Brooks, was arrested for unsworn falsification on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks.
Dec. 15
Randolph M. West, 50, of Thorndike, was arrested for hindering apprehension or prosecution and violating conditions of release. West was also issued a summons for failure to report an accident by quickest means.
Deputy Daniel Thompson responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Bagley Hill Road where the operator failed to negotiate a curve, leaving the roadway before striking trees. The vehicle was towed. There were no injuries.
Dec. 18
Deputy Jordan Tozier responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Detroit Road in Troy where the operator lost control on snowy roads, exiting the roadway and flipping onto roof while coming to rest in a shallow stream. The vehicle was towed. There were no injuries.
Dec. 19
Jonathan Saball, 28, of Unity, was arrested for failure to pay fines.
Dec. 20
April Pickering, 27, of Morrill, was issued summonses for operating after suspension on Bangor Road in Prospect and violating conditions of release.
Justin V. Kitchin, 31, of Burnham, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Morgan Road in Burnham.
