Belfast Police beat: Stopping suddenly, following too closely
BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity July 30-Aug. 7. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
July 26 (late entry)
Jeffrey W. Hustus, 48, of Searsport, was arrested for operating under the influence on Swan Lake Avenue.
July 30
Elmer M. Perkins, 85, of Belfast, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation, failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days).
Aug. 1
Matthew R. Gray, 25, of Bucksport, was issued summonses for stealing drugs and burglary stemming from an incident June 16.
Aug. 2
Ian J. Campbell, 23, of Montville, was arrested for operating under the influence on River Avenue.
Aug. 4
Martha E. Piscuskas, 54, of Liberty, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
Aug. 5
Glenn W. Martin, 36, of Montville, was issued a summons for stopping suddenly without cause on Route 3.
Jaimie A. Grass, 55, of Belmont, was issued a summons for following too closely on Route 3.
Aug. 7
Jesse L. Fuller, 32, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
Byrlynn Ellis, 35, of Belfast, was arrested for disorderly conduct, refusing to submit to arrest or detention and violation conditions of release.
Willis E. Knowles, 43, of Dover Foxcroft, was issued a summons for speeding 60 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 1.
Aug. 8
Brian A. Deflore, 57, of New York, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 3.
