Waldo County Sheriff’s beat: Drugs and inspection violations
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Feb. 19-26. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
Feb. 19
Deputy Jordan Tozier responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Bangor Road in Unity, where an operator failed to yield the right of way while making a right turn from Juniper Lane. The driver entered the roadway directly into the path of another vehicle, causing a collision. Both vehicles were towed but there were no injuries.
Feb. 25
Gerald R. Bickmore, 55, of Searsport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
Ryan S. Flannery, 28, of Northport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension.
Feb. 26
Kyle J. Higgins, 24, of Holden, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
William Nunn, 19, of Monroe, was arrested for violating conditions of release, possession of a useable amount of marijuana, possession of a schedule W drug and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
