“The Flower Show” opens in Arts In The Barn for summer 2024
CUSHING — Arts In The Barn presents the 2024 summer opening exhibit with “The Flower Show” during the weekend of June 28 to 30, a community event that involves all kinds of styles and materials. Opening celebration is Friday, June 28, from 5 - 7 p.m., refreshments are served.
The Arts In The Barn opening show will feature all kinds of mediums – découpage, paintings, photographs, and anything else as long as it pertains to flowers. This is a community show, so all styles are welcome.
“The Barn is a wonderful space with excellent lighting and atmosphere, a mile before the Olson House of Andrew Wyeth fame on Hathorne Point Road in beautiful Cushing,” said Cushing Historical Society, in a news release. “In these community shows you will meet the artists and can inquire about their process or techniques, and buy art straight from the artist, there is no commission involved so you benefit from the experience of buying from the artist and the artist will benefit also.”
