Wednesday Waldo Walk goes to Newman Breslin Preserve, June 12

NORTHPORT — Coastal Mountains Land Trust announces a new hiking series: Wednesday Waldo Walks. On the second Wednesday of each month, Waldo County Conservation Initiative committee member Bindy Pendleton will lead a walk through a different Waldo County Preserve.
The first hike of the series will explore the Newman-Breslin Preserve in Northport on June 12. Please meet Bindy at the Reny's Plaza in Belfast (1 Belmont Ave) to participate in optional carpooling or receive directions to the trailhead located on Beech Hill Road in Northport.
For those interested in a longer morning of hiking, Pendleton will be leading a second walk through Piper Stream Preserve up the street in Northport afterwards.

Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,000 acres, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.
