Blue Raven Gallery hosts summer poetry reading series
ROCKLAND — Blue Raven Gallery has launched a summer poetry reading series. A showcase for American voices in poetry. Readings will take place on Wednesdays, at 7 p.m.
The series will feature some of the most talented and diverse poets from Maine and across the country, according to Blue Raven, in a news release.
“Each month we have carefully curated poets who will bring their own distinctive styles, richness, and unique perspective,” said Blue Raven. “The lineup includes renowned and award-winning names such as Edward Hirsch and Major Jackson.
“We are beyond excited to underwrite and host this summer reading series at Blue Raven Gallery," said the gallery's director, Jodie Willard. "Poetry has always been an integral part of our culture and we are honored to provide a space for these talented poets to share their art with our community".
