Thomaston Public Library to hold Volunteer Social and Book Moving Party
THOMASTON — Get ready for a lively afternoon of community camaraderie and library love at the Volunteer Social & Book Moving Party hosted by Thomaston Public Library. The event will take place on Sunday, May 19, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the library's location on 60 Main Street, in Thomaston.
This engaging gathering invites volunteers of all ages to lend a hand in rearranging books in the children's room while discovering exciting opportunities for future involvement with the library.
“Whether you can stay for the whole event or just pop in for a part of it, your participation is welcomed and valued,” said Kendray Rodriguez, in a news release. “Families seeking quality bonding time, local businesses interested in team-building activities, students eager to fulfill volunteer service hours, and community members looking to connect with like-minded neighbors will find this event especially rewarding. Kids are encouraged to join in the fun, with volunteers hosting a special story time during the party.”
Refreshments will be provided to keep volunteers energized as they mingle and collaborate. Whether you're interested in helping with existing programs or eager to share your unique talents and passions with the community, there's a role for everyone to play at the library.
