Hearth-Warming Raffle winners announced
CAMDEN — West Bay Rotary’s Satellite Club announced the winners of its Hearth-Warming Raffle, which has become its most successful fundraiser to date. Net proceeds support two local charities, AIO Food & Fuel Assistance and the Shields Fund.

The Shields Fund, a project of the First Congregational Church of Camden, works cooperatively with local social services agencies, providing assistance to Knox County and Lincolnville residents in financial crisis.
Shields Fund provides direct aid to individuals and families with payments made to the service providers. Examples include warmth (fuel & electricity), shelter, automotive repairs, health care (medical, dental, vision), education, and home maintenance for safety issues.
AIO Food & Energy Assistance serves the region with energy assistance for those in need. This past year, AIO helped 475 households with heating fuel assistance. For the current heating season, they’re expecting even more requests.

Founded in 2018, West Bay Rotary’s Satellite Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. at American Flatbread (upstairs) in Rockport. The Satellite is part of District 7790, West Bay Rotary, founded in 1987.
