THOMASTON — For Fire Prevention Week, the Thomaston Fire Department and Thomaston EMS came to visit on Friday, October 13, 2023 to talk to the Thomaston Grammar School community about fire prevention. They began with a fire safety presentation in the gymnasium and then continued the event outside where students were able to learn more about emergency vehicles and equipment.
The students had a great time exploring the fire truck and ambulance and asking questions.
“We love having the Fire Department and EMS visit our school,” said TGS, in a news release.
