Nativity Lutheran Church to raise funds for church, Knox County Homeless Coalition, Oct. 14
ROCKPORT — The Annual Harvest Festival and Tag Sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Nativity Lutheran Church, at 179 Old County Road.
Of special note are many tag sale items in the basement of the church: household goods, glassware and dishes, furniture, tools, sporting goods, books, paintings and more, according to the church, in a news release. All items in the basement of the church will be sold at half price during the last half hour of the day (12:30 - 1 p.m).
An 8’ Avon Inflatable Craft, and a Round of Golf (2024) at The Samoset are two of the many unique silent auction items featured upstairs at the festival. Boutique items of jewelry, scarves and handbags will be sold in the Fellowship Hall. Baked goods and crafts will also be available for sale in the upstairs Fellowship Hall.
A Harvest Festival Cafe will run throughout the day, serving breakfast sandwiches and pancakes in the morning and sandwiches, beef stew and chicken soup for lunch. Homemade donuts will be offered in memory of long-time donut maker Ralph Miller.
All proceeds from the day’s sales will be shared with the Knox County Homeless Coalition and Ministries of Nativity Lutheran Church.
KCHC provides shelter and support for those individuals and families in the Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
