“Bird Time on the Coast” returns with local bird experts leading trips to some of their favorite bird hotspots along the coast of Maine. Bird Time on the Coast is open to all bird watching abilities from beginners to advanced.
Spring bird walks will run through the first week of July, beginning with a trip to Weskeag Marsh with Don Reimer on Saturday, April 29.
Registration is required to participate. For the full list of walks and to register, visit the FOMCI website at www.mainecoastislands.org/events.
Walks are free and scheduled from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
“The trips are limited in number and will fill up quickly so register early,” said Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge, in a news release.
