Camden Hills girls cross country, Oceanside’s Protheroe qualify for state championship meet
AUGUSTA and WATERVILLE — The Camden Hills boys and girls cross teams traveled to Augusta for the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A cross country championship meet Saturday, Oct. 31.
In the boys division, Camden Hills placed eighth of 11 teams placing with a total time of 1:43:06.00.
Qualifying for states in the boys division are top four finishers Bangor (1:27:49.00), Mount Ararat (1:29:22.00), Brunswick (1:29:31.00) and Hampden Academy (1:33:01.00).
In the girls division, Camden Hills placed fourth of 10 teams placing with a total time of 1:58:20.00.
Qualifying for states in the girls division are top four finishers Bangor (1:49:16.00), Mount Ararat (1:57:52.00), Brunswick (1:59:22.00) and Camden Hills.
