National Diabetes Prevention Program in Rockland
ROCKLAND — The National Diabetes Prevention Program is a group-based lifestyle change program proven to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes by 58%.
The National Diabetes Prevention Program will help you learn how to eat healthier, be active, develop skills to make healthier choices and get the long-term support you need to stick with the changes.
Beginning Wednesday, March 4, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Knox Center, 6 White Street, Rockland, this program meets for one year: once a week for 16 weeks and then bi-monthly or monthly for the rest of the year.
