AUGUSTA — Nearly 250 junior varsity cross country runners traveled to Cony High School in Augusta on Saturday, Oct. 19 to participate in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference junior varsity championships. 

The Camden Hills girls team finished third with a total time of 2:08:16.80 and Medomak Valley finished seventh with a total time of 2:31.36.40. 

The Belfast boys team finished ninth with a total time of 1:58:49.00 and Camden Hills finished 12th with a total time of 2:06:13.10.
