ROCKPORT — Midcoast Community Chorus (MCC) is holding a Dream Raffle for a trip to attend a music performance of choice, be it a concert, dance, or festival, at a venue anywhere in the world. The winner will enjoy expenses for two covered with round-trip airfare, overnight accommodations, dinner and tickets to attend the desired event.

Start to dream and choose from an array of performance events. Dance an elegant waltz in Vienna, Austria. Enjoy opera at world-famous Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy. Las Vegas offers performances of legendary or popular singers, and multiple venues for Cirque du Soleil.

See both an event and the architecture of Sydney Opera House in Australia. Catch the ballet at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Russia. Chinese acrobats perform the near-impossible in Beijing, China. Experience the one-performance-only of Placido Domingo’s 50th anniversary in San Francisco. Watch a parade of Carnival Samba dancers in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

This is an easy opportunity to take a chance on fulfilling your personal dream to attend a best arts performance anywhere in the world, according to MCC.

MCC will make all the arrangements once the winner gives a 90-day notice of the choice of the event, its date and location. The limit is $5000 and the trip must be taken by June 15, 2020.  

The winner of the Dream Raffle will be announced at MCC’s upcoming concert on June 16 at the Strom Auditorium of Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport.

Raffle tickets are $25 each and must be purchased from members of the Midcoast Community Chorus.
