MONROE — A Waterville woman was arrested after a Monroe homeowner allegedly caught people cutting parts out of vehicles stored on his property, according to a March 29 Maine State Police press release. 

Angela Bragg, 48, has been charged with trespassing, receiving stolen property, and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug (Suboxone) as a result of the Jackson Road incident, which occurred March 27. 

According to the release, a homeowner called Waldo County Dispatch to report suspicious activity on his property; specifically, that there were people on his property cutting parts from vehicles he stored. The owner was reportedly able to stop the suspicious vehicle while it remained on his property, though two men fled on foot. 

When MSP Trooper Thomas Bureau arrived the driver, later identified as Bragg, remained in the vehicle. 

The two men who fled on foot have reportedly been identified and the investigation is ongoing. 

The release concludes with troopers encouraging people to “be vigilant about their property and call in suspicious activity.”
